SISTec Business School Under the Proficiency Development Program has Organized a Workshop on "The Role & Utilization of Specialized Software Tools in Business Analytics". The Speaker for the Workshop was (Associate Professor & HOD Computer Science & Engineering) Dr. Amit Kumar Mishra who provided insights into various aspects of business analytics and how specialized software tools can enhance analytical capabilities. Topics covered included data fundamentals, data collection methodologies, problem definition, stakeholder identification, types of data analytics, basic statistics, data visualization, and preprocessing techniques.

Students of SISTec Business School organized a Farewell Party, called "Adios Bash - 2024" to bid goodbye to their seniors. The event began with a Saraswati Vandana and a lamp-lighting ceremony. (Principal, SISTec) Dr. D.K. Rajoriya, and (Asso. Professor & HOD, SISTec Business School) Mr. Nishant Shrivastava, shared their blessings with the students. The junior students put together various fun activities for the seniors, including poetry, singing, and dancing performances. Videos were also shown to highlight the two-year MBA journey of the graduating seniors. The event aimed to celebrate the bond between the students and create lasting memories before saying goodbye.

SISTec Business School recently hosted a session as part of its Proficiency Development Program titled "Effective Communication & Effective Emails." The expert speaker for the session was Ms. Shweta Kehwani Ajmani, Director of Dreamz Global Education Services. The main goal of the session was to provide students with the necessary skills to effectively communicate to potential employers.

The dynamic singing twin duo, Sukriti Kakar and Prakriti Kakar, popularly known as "SuPra" took center stage during 'SISTec Celebrity Night' on 27th April 2024. With high voltage sound and flashing lights, the Sukriti Kakar and Prakriti Kakkar gave a live performance in front of around 5000 students and made them crazy by singing many hit songs. With their musical voices and infectious energy, the Kakar sisters created an energetic musical atmosphere that had the students dancing. SuPra started the SISTec Celebrity Night concert with the song 'Kehndi Haan Kehandi Na', after which, they presented 'Hum Tum' compelling everyone present to dance. Their latest track 'Saath Tere' compelled everyone to switch on their flashlights and sway to the charming tune. In this series of energy-filled songs, Sukriti & Prakriti Kakar sang 'Gulabi Aankhen', 'Shape of You', 'Majnu', and 'Sona Lagda'. The playlist included their chart-topping tracks, including 'Jhoome Jo Pathan', 'Pehli Baar', 'Kya Kahen', 'Gazab Ka Hai Din', and 'Maafiyaan'.

Sagar Group of Institutions-SISTec proudly hosted its prestigious event, "Nirmaan 2024 — National Level Tech-Skill Expo XII Edition". This tech-skill expo attracted technocrats from all over India who eagerly displayed their technical prowess through various models. Over 1000 aspiring technocrats from more than 50 institutions participated in the expo, introducing modernizations on a range of themes to create a fusion of technical innovations.

The XII Edition of Nirmaan focused on 11 different themes, with students presenting inventive ideas and projects on topics such as Renewable Energy, Clean and Green Technologies, Waste Management, Disaster Management, Technical Innovations, Smart Vehicles, Smart Agriculture and Rural Development, Health and Medicine, Smart Automation, Robotics and Drones, Fintech, and other innovative domains aimed at solving real-life problems.

Sagar Group of Institutions-SISTec hosted its highly anticipated National Level Annual Techno-Cultural Fest — the 17th Sagar Fiesta 2024. The event was filled with incredible energy and had a fantastic turnout from colleges participating in various technical and cultural events. This year, the theme for Sagar Fiesta was Vriddhi - Vintage to Vogue, highlighting the evolution from the retro era to the modern generation.The highlight of the event was a captivating skit performed by students, depicting the story of Ramayan. The audience was treated to a series of impressive dance performances that received thunderous applause and cheers throughout the ceremony.

In alignment with this core philosophy, Sagar Group of Institutions-SISTec, Gandhi Nagar recently hosted Sagarika - International Women's Day, with a focus on women's health and well-being. The morning assembly at SISTec featured a special recognition ceremony for all the women achievers who have excelled in various fields such as sports, academics, and cultural events. In the afternoon session, Dr. Sapna Bajaj, Director of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Sagar Multispeciality Hospital SMH, Bhopal, graced the event as the keynote speaker. Dr. Bajaj emphasized the importance of women's health and well-being, highlighting that a strong woman leads to a strong family and nation. She also provided valuable insights on how women can maintain a healthy lifestyle amidst their daily routines.

To explore the ever-changing landscape of education, Sagar Group of Institutions-SISTec and SISTec Ratibad recently hosted a session titled "प्रेरणा — Igniting Professional Minds" featuring (Former, Vice Chairman of AICTE), Dr. M.P Poonia. The event, Igniting Professional Minds initiative, brought together B.Tech, Pharmacy, and MBA students along with faculty members at the prestigious institution's campus.

The session began with the lighting of the lamp to goddess Saraswati by (Chairman, Sagar Group) Shri Sudhir Kumar Agrawal, (Former, Vice Chairman, AICTE) Dr. M.P Poonia, (Director, SISTec) Dr. Jyoti Deshmukh, (Principal, SISTec) Dr. D.K Rajoriya, (Principal, SISTec Ratibad) Dr. Manish Billore, (Vice-Principal) Dr. Swati Saxena and (Administrator, SISTec) Mr. B.S. Kushwah, underscoring the crucial role of educators in society. In his address to the audience, he emphasized the timeless nature of learning, stating that education transcends age barriers and is a universal phenomenon.

Throughout his speech, Dr. Poonia highlighted the significance of building trust between educators and society, encouraging educators to take pride in their profession and avoid demoralizing students. Trust and unity are crucial elements within an organization, and a Corporate Retreat is the perfect opportunity to foster both. On January 26th, 2024, the management of SISTec Gandhi Nagar and SISTec Ratibad Campuses organized a delightful outing for all staff members at Lands End Resort. This day was dedicated to pure enjoyment, with a generous serving of fun, food, and masti.

The picnic was planned by the HRs of both campuses, Ms. Neha Nanwani and Ms. Rashi Paliwal. Their goal was to provide a much-needed break from the daily grind and allow everyone to unwind in a different setting, far away from the campus and its usual hustle and bustle.

To add an extra layer of excitement, a variety of games were organized for everyone to participate in. Laughter and joy filled the air as all the members wholeheartedly embraced the opportunity to immerse themselves in the resort's lush green jungle surroundings.

The 75th Republic Day was celebrated at Sagar Group of Institutions-SISTec with great enthusiasm and patriotism. A flag-hoisting ceremony was held, accompanied by strong emotions and a display of national pride. The celebration came to an end with the singing of the National Anthem and a tribute to the unsung heroes of India.

Sagar Group of Institutions - SISTec organized a highly informative and engaging two-day Faculty Development Program on Recent Pedagogical Practices. The program aimed to equip our esteemed faculty members with the latest teaching methodologies and tools to enhance their teaching effectiveness.

We were privileged to have Dr. D. Lakshmi, Assistant Director of the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning at V.I.T. Bhopal, as our distinguished guest speaker. Dr. Lakshmi started with flipped learning and continued to outcome-based education providing valuable insights to our faculty members. She delved into the concept of Education 4.0 and introduced the fascinating world of ChatGPT like AI Tools which captivated the audience's attention.

Furthermore, Dr. Lakshmi shed light on various tools for learning and assessment, offering our faculty members hands-on training to effectively implement them in their teaching practices. She also explored the realm of Artificial Intelligence and its potential impact on the future of education. Her comprehensive knowledge and expertise in this field allowed her to recommend numerous tools and software for content creation and research writing, empowering our faculty members to create engaging and interactive learning materials.

The program witnessed an overwhelming participation of over 150 faculty members from both campuses. Their active involvement and enthusiasm throughout the sessions demonstrated their eagerness to embrace innovative teaching practices and stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field of education.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. D. Lakshmi for her invaluable contribution to this Faculty Development Program. Her expertise and passion for teaching have undoubtedly enriched the knowledge and skills of our faculty members, enabling them to provide a more engaging and effective learning experience for our students.

'Alumni: a lifelong membership to unforgettable moments. The event witnessed the reunion of engineering, pharmacy, and management alumni across India. This gathering provided a splendid opportunity to relive sweet memories from the past. It became a platform for alumni to come together and collaborate with their alma mater, understanding the need to create new opportunities for graduates by enhancing the alumni network.

Many working in reputed companies and some who had established themselves as entrepreneurs shared their experiences in association with SISTec and expressed gratitude towards the teaching staff and management for their continuous support and commitment during their years at college.

The Alumni President - SAGA Mr. Mohneesh Choudhary shared his thoughts on helping their juniors by recruiting them in their startups and guiding them for better opportunities. along with this, the distinguished Alumni were felicitated with Memento for marking a special appearance in the society and making their institution proud with their work. The event ended with a live concert, where our talented alumni grooved on the beats and played sports, remembering their hostel day in campus.

Sagar Group of Institutions-SISTec organized an Intra-Departmental Cricket Competition within its campus to help its staff relax, enjoy, and kick in a light workout.

Four teams from the institute took part in this competition namely "Team CSE+EX Mix 11", "Team ME+EC+First Year Cell Mix 11", "Team Civil+Pharmacy+MBA Mix 11" and "Team Admin" from the Administration Department.

— The first match was played between Team Mechanical and Team CSE Mix 11 which was won by Team Mechanical.

— The Second match was played between Team Admin and Team Civil which was won by Team Civil.

— The Final match was played between winners of previous matches i.e. Team Mechanical and Team Civil, of which Team Civil won the match securing the trophy for the whole competition.

School of Management Studies — SISTec MBA organized an expert session on "Scientific Research Writing", to provide students the opportunity to gain the required skills in research writing and increase their productivity. The expert speaker for the season was (Vice-chair SAC IEEE MP section & HOD at Electrical EngineeringDept., SISTec Ratibad) Dr. Ashish Singhal.

Dr. Ashish Singhal emphasized the prerequisites for writing the research paper. He addressed the importance of Novelty in research writing, an abstract should be clear and precise while writing the paper. He also explained points to remember for the introduction, results, and discussion. We are highly confident that this session would make significant advancements that can improve our student’s lives and contribution to the betterment of society.

SISTec MBA organized — PARICHAY - 2023 Fresher's Meet-up for the new budding managers. The newest members of the college were welcomed with a bang at the Fresher’s Party, The students roared to life as they gathered with enthusiasm and excitement, eagerly waiting to see what was in store for them.This magnifying event started with the Saraswati Vandana followed by the lighting of the lamp. A series of amazing performances were put up by the 2nd year students a fiesta consisting of dance and singing performances.The elegance and ability of the first-year participants won us over with the stunning appearances as per the Ballroom theme.This was followed by a questionnaire round, where the participants stole the glam light and performed wonderfully. School of Management Studies - SISTec MBA in collaboration with Management Student Council (MAC) organized the AD - Maniac — a video ad-making competition. 14 Teams, armed with innovative ideas and a passion for advertising, competed in the event. The students showcased their creativity and innovation by displaying various products and services using powerful video advertisements.

The activity was judged on four parameters: creativity, concept of advertisement, theme representation, uniqueness, and tagline. The judge of the event was (IT Project Manager, Sagar Group) Mr. Gajendra Gayakwad, (Sr. Digital Marketing Executive ) Mr. Pankaj Mangtani, and (Graphic Designer, SISTec) Mr. Akash Namdev.

School of Management Studies - SISTec MBA organized Two weeks hands-on training from 4th December to 15th December 2023 on "Tools of Data Analytics" for management students. The Experienced Professional in Power BI and Asst. Professor at SISTec Dept. of CSE - AI & DS, Ms. Ruchi Jain was the trainer for the training program.The "2 Weeks Hands on training on Tools of Data Analytics " not only equipped the students with practical skills in using Power BI for data visualization and analytics but also trained the students to use Power BI insights for informed decision-making in business contexts. This workshop will definitely improve students' employability by providing them with a valuable skill set in Power BI, which is a widely used tool in the data analytics field.On the last day of the workshop Dr. Vaseema Khan, Associate Professor and HOD of the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Department at SISTec, Gandhinagar, also motivated the students to explore the field of data science for better career opportunities.

School of Management Studies - SISTec MBA organized an Alumni Talk to let its budding managers know how their seniors and alumni have enjoyed and carried on their student life, placed in reputed companies. Our distinguished Alumni of batch 2020- 2022 and Operational Specialist at Citi Bank Mr. Aman Namdeo was there to learn and connect with the budding managers.

Mr. Aman shared his views on the role and importance of "Corporate and Industry Trends" and emphasized students learn about the trending technologies. Furthermore, he explained the importance of Cloud, Data Maintenance, and Artificial Intelligence.

All in all, the interaction between our Alumni and our budding managers was all about knowledge sharing with each other.

Sports and games develop students holistically, boosting alertness, discipline, team spirit, mental ability, and confidence. With this thought, SISTec MBA organized a Cricket tournament under SportySaturday. The matches were held in a knockout format, consisting of 4 four teams named Team Managers, SISTec Warriors, GN Champions, and MBA Challengers. The cricket grounds buzzed with anticipation as players, including boys and girls, geared up for a day of intense competition.

Team SISTec Warriors emerged as the winner of the tournament, wherein Ms. Mansi Sharma showcased her outstanding performance and grabbed the "Player of the Match". The event was well enjoyed by the students and faculty, organized under the Management Activity Council (MAC), and coordinated by Mr. Ashish Mishra and Mr. Vishal Verma.

हर वर्ष की तरह इस वर्ष भी सिस्टेक परिवार ने "भजन संध्या" का आयोजन हर्ष और उल्लास के साथ किया । दीपावली के कुछ दिनों पहले होने वाले इस आयोजन ने हम सबके मन में अपना एक विशिष्ट स्थान बना लिया है, और इस बार भी सागर ग्रुप ऑफ़ इस्टीट्यूशन - सिस्टेक गांधी नगर और रातीबड़ द्वारा भजन संध्या का आयोजन दिनांक 08.11.23 को किया गया। दिवाली के पावन पर्व  के उपलक्ष में आयोजित इस भजन संध्या में चेयरमैन श्री सुधीर कुमार अग्रवाल के साथ ही सागर ग्रुप के विभिन्न उपक्रमों के पदाधिकारी भी उपस्थित रहे। कार्यक्रम में सम्मिलित सभी ने सुरमई भजनों का आनंद लिया।

भजन संध्या परमात्मा के और निकट जाने का माध्यम साबित हुई, जहां सभी ने ईश्वर के अपने सबसे प्रिय रूप का भजनों के द्वारा आवाह्न किया। गणेश वंदना से शुरू हुई श्रृंखला ने शक्ति स्वरूपा माँ दुर्गा, भोलेनाथ, श्री कृष्ण, राधा, पवनसुत हनुमान और श्री राम की स्तुति तक का सफ़र तय किया। कुछ प्रस्तुतियों ने मन की शक्ति का भी संदेश दिया। सभी श्रोतागणों में भक्तिमय माहौल से एक नई ऊर्जा और नई उमंग का संचार हुआ और कोई भी अपनी तालियों की ताल को रोक नहीं सका। संध्या का समापन समूह हुनमान चालीसा पाठ के साथ हुआ जिसके पश्चात सभी ने भोजन प्रसादी ग्रहण की।

With the celebration of entrepreneurship day, SISTec MBA conducted an expert session with our guest speaker (Owner / Proprietor) Mr. Sandeep Jawrani. He is the owner of "The Dream Cafe" and our Alumni.

During the session, Mr. Sandeep briefed students about his entrepreneurship journey, the risks, failure and the success he saw during his journey. Indeed it was a valuable session for the students and will surely help them get insight on starting them for being an entrepreneur.

School of Management Studies - SISTec MBA organized a three-day student development program on "How to make investment & career in securities market" in collaboration with the National Institutes of Securities Market (NISM) under the knowledge series banner. The resource person for the session was (Retd. Group President & Chief Business Development Officer) Mr. Ravi Varanasi, (SEBI, NCFE, NISM, PFRDA Empanelled Financial Education Trainer) Ms. Shruti Gupta and (CA, DISA Professional) Mr. Piyush Gupta.

On the first day of training the students were made familiar with various terminologies like finances, investment, GDP, security market, etc, they were also briefed about the points they need to keep in mind as a new investor.

On the second day, the trainers enlightened the students about the various types of markets and intermediaries of the security market. On the last day of the workshop, students were provided with complete insights about Mutual funds. The students found the workshop very informative and helped them understand concepts with ease.

School of Management Studies - SISTec MBA organized an Essay Writing Competition under the Management Activity Council, Front Liners (HR Club). The topic for the competition was "Say no to Corruption; commit to the nation" under Vigilance Awareness Week, where students showcased their talent and ideas on vigilance awareness. The competition winners were felicitated with trophies, certificates, and bags by the judges from the Bank of Baroda (BOB).

School of Management Studies - SISTec MBA organized its signature Inter-College Management Fest "Sagar Exuberance 2.0", where participants from different MBA colleges of Bhopal took part in events like Brand Combat and Skills & Thrills. The event was inaugurated by Guest of Honor (Director, ANGC Group India Pvt. Ltd) Ms. Jayshree Nair and (Sr. Journalist, Dainik Bhaskar) Mr. Rajesh Kumar Gaba.

The main aim of this management fest was to encourage students and showcase their managerial skills, creativity, teamwork, and competitive spirit. The main attraction of the event was its food fair named "Prayas", where students prepared different dishes, showcasing their entrepreneurial skills as chefs. At the end of the event, the winners and runner-ups were felicitated with trophies, certificates, and cash prizes.

Management Activity Council (MAC) at SISTec MBA organized a "Logo Making & Tagline Competition" under the umbrella of Eventful Wednesday. There were different teams consisting of 4 members each of whom participated in logo designing and tagline building their own brands catering to various sectors. The judgment of the competition was done on the basis of relevance to the theme, originality, creativity, and presentation. The purpose of the event was to develop teamwork, creative thinking, and coordination among them. Students participated with lots of enthusiasm and excitement.

SISTec MBA organized an “Orientation Program – Deeksharambh Samaroh 2023” for the new batch of budding managers. The event was graced by (Director – Sagar Group of Institutions) Dr. Jyoti Deshmukh, (Principal – SISTec) Dr. Dinesh Kumar Rajoriya, (Group Head, Corporate Relations) Ms. Prachi Shrivastava, (HoD – SISTec MBA) Prof. Somen Mitra and our (Alumni, Batch 2017-19) Mr. Vishal Chouksey.

The event witnessed a series of motivational and informative sessions, where students got to know about the academic working and value-added courses. Our distinguished Alumni Mr. Vishal in his address shared his college days learning’s and how it reflected during the campus interviews. He also talked about the importance of goal setting, focusing on the goal, and sticking to the goal.

In the latter part of his talk, he shared his industry experience with the students and guided students in developing communication and problem-solving approaches that will help them in all phases of life. The faculty members along with the HoD made the students aware of the various processes followed at SISTec MBA. They have shared the road map of their entire journey of SISTec MBA.

Celebrating the freedom and unity of India has always been a culture of Sagar Group, keeping up with the tradition Sagar Group of Institutions-SISTec celebrated the 77th Independence Day at its campus. It was no less a fortune to witness and live this festival of independence that symbolizes the power of liberty, freedom, and democracy. The campus was adorned with tricolor, echoing the rich history and diverse culture of our beloved India. From heartwarming speeches that reminded us of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters to secure our freedom, to lively cultural performances that left us mesmerized. 

The celebration concluded by remembering that our freedom comes with responsibility - the responsibility to contribute positively to our society and to uphold the values that make India truly great.

SISTec MBA students of the 2nd Semester (Batch 2022) bid adieu to their seniors by organizing a Farewell Party, “Mehfil – E – Rukshat – 2K23” on 20th May 2023.

The program started with Saraswati Vandana followed by a lamp lighting ceremony. HOD SISTec MBA addressed the student and bestowed his blessings on them. Junior students arranged many fun events for their seniors, including poetry, singing, and dancing performances. Videos were presented that showcased the 2 year MBA journey of the seniors.

The ceremony advanced with the ramp walk and talent hunt for Mr. & Ms. SISTec 2023, Mr. & Ms. Eve 2023, and King & Queen of Mehfil-e-Rukhsat 2023. The final year contestants' elegancy and talents swayed us all. This was followed by a round of questionnaires. The participants stole the glam light and performed wonderfully.

The Keynote Speaker for the event was Mr. Prasenjit Mund (Resident Editor, The Times of India, M.P. & CG) and Mr. Pradeep Karambelkar (President, TIE M.P, Executive Director, BNI, and Chairman, Bhopal Management Association) graced the event as Guest of Honor. The portfolio of panelists included several professionals and accomplished academicians from varied domains like supply chain management, entrepreneurship, financial services, strategy, consulting, etc., and represented organizations like PWC, Edelweiss Tokio, Bajaj Allianz, University of Northampton (UK), etc.

Mr. Prasanjit Mund in his keynote speech talked about how this world and particularly our country would look like in 2030 as an economy of 9 trillion dollars overtaking Japan and Germany. There were two-panel discussions during the event. The theme for the first-panel discussion was “Innovation and Successful Businesses: A 2030 Perspective wherein the Panelists, Mr. Pradeep Karambelkar, Mr. Devendra Singh Chauhan & Dr. Ravi Changle discussed reinforcing that businesses should keep on innovating to sustain themselves and IT & AI are acting as the new differential in the field of innovation.

The theme for the second panel discussion was “Sustainable Management Strategies for 2030 and beyond”, where Mr. Vaebhav S.Badal, Mr. Nishkarsh Mehra, and Mr. Manmeet Singh, emphasized on various facets of sustainable strategies applicable in industry and society, deciding sustainable strategies in BFSI sector, having a sustainable ecosystem and it's changing dynamics sustainable strategies from a rural development perspective with an overall focus on ESG (Economic, Social, and Governmental) approach. The event ended with a vote of thanks.

School of Management Studies – SISTec MBA organized its Inter-College Management Fest “Sagar Exuberance 2023”. The major goal of this event was to encourage the student's creativity, teamwork, and competitive spirit. There were six competitions held throughout the day like Skills and Thrills (Management Games), Brand Combat (Marketing Puzzle and AD- Making Competition, Kala Kriti (Poster Making Competition), Chehre Pe Chehra (Face Painting Competition), Rang Tarang (Management Rangoli) and Young Manch (Talent Hunt Competition).

The Guest of Honour for the day was (acclaimed Grooming Expert, Anchor & Event Organizer) Mr. Ravindra Mathur and (Young Singing Sensation and Actor) Mr. Yogi Singh, who encouraged the students to improve themselves in order to have a brighter future. Mr. Yogi on request of the audience sang a song, which took everybody's attention. The afternoon event “Brand Combat” was preceded by a stage presence of the gracious RJ Harsha from My FM, where boys and girls bagged food vouchers and goodies through impromptu performances.

Students from different colleges of Bhopal participated in the fest and enjoyed the event. Sagar Exuberance 2023 also witnessed a fun fair, “PRAYAS”, organized and managed by students of SISTec MBA. PRAYAS was conceptualized along the lines of “One Day Entrepreneur”. The students vended various self-prepared delicacies at 12 outlets showcasing their managerial and entrepreneurial skills. The event ended up with a prize distribution ceremony to all the winners of the events and a vote of thanks by (HoD, SISTec MBA) Mr. Somen Mitra.

Sagar Group of Institutions-SISTec began its most awaited annual techno-cultural fest with unmatched energy and paramounting participation in all the technical and cultural events at 'Sagar Fiesta 2023’. This two-day fest started with its 'Inaugural Ceremony' in the presence of (Principal - SISTec) Dr. Keshavendra Choudhary, (Principal-SIPTec) Dr. Kuldeep Ganju, (Vice-Principal - SISTec) Dr. Swati Saxena, and (Administrator - SISTec) Mr. B.S Kushwah. The event started with the lamp lighting ceremony, heading towards the welcome dance representing the Indian culture.

The first day of the fest witnessed several techno-cultural events, workshops, and art exhibitions wherein 800+ students participated from different colleges of Bhopal. The indomitable spirit and high energy of the students were seen in their performances. The most eye-catching was the drama depicting the story of an Engineering student. The cultural performance of the students, representing the rich culture of Rajasthan, Kashmir, Gujrat, Maharashtra, Kerala, and Punjab earned huge applause from the audience that constantly cheered and celebrated together.

The event was also marked by the distinguished presence of (Chairman - Sagar Group) Shri. Sudhir Kumar Agrawal, who felicitated the 'Academic Toppers' from various departments of engineering, management, and pharmacy. The toppers of all academic years were lauded with accolades with best wishes for their future endeavors. Amongst the awards was the most prestigious 'Student of the Year Award 2023' that was won by Mr. Akhilesh Choudhary, B.Tech. fourth-year student.

School of Management Studies - SISTec MBA organized an expert session on “Emerging Strategies to Attract Consumers” under the umbrella of Knowledge Series flagship program. The resource person for the session was (Professor & Head of Corporate Relations, NTPC School of Business) Dr. Neel Rai.

Through the session, the students were taught about customer Segmentation Targeting and Positioning which is also popularly known as STP in Management. They were made aware about the benefits of Customer Engagement. The speaker answered all relevant questions in the Q&A session to the satisfaction of the audience.

SISTec MBA conducted a Two-Day Student Development Program (SDP) for BTech pre-final year students of Sagar Group of Institutions - SISTec Ratibad on the topic "Finance for Budding Engineers". Finance is one of the critical pillars of any organization. Decisions made without properly understanding the financial implications may lead to reduced profits (or even losses) and a reduction in shareholder value. The SDP on "Finance for Budding Engineers" provided basic financial principles and covered generic financial management tools necessary for decision-making.

The objective of this SDP was to raise the level of financial awareness of participants and enable them to use the financial information provided to make better short-term and long-term business decisions by understanding the concepts like Time Value of Money, Mutual Fund Concepts and Analytics, Loan Amortization, GST, Cost Sheet Analysis, Project Appraisal, Project Financing, Export Financing, Sources of Finance, Inventory Management, Tendering, etc. To aid better understanding and conceptual clarity, extensive hands-on practice on various topics were conducted in the labs using the MS Excel platform.

The flag hoisting ceremony was conducted with full zest, emotions, and patriotism on the occasion of the 74th Republic Day at Sagar Group of Institutions-SISTec. Along, with the flag-hoisting ceremony, the dignitaries, faculty members, staff members, and students also celebrated Basant Panchami with the lamp lighting in front of Maa Saraswati.

The celebration concluded with the National Anthem and paying tribute to the unsung heroes of India.

In order to reunite, unwind, and start the day with full masti, fun, and enjoyment with colleagues, SISTec planned a leisure excursion trip for all staff members to "Udayagiri Caves" on January 26, 2023.

The picnic was organized as a means for the group to unwind and enjoy themselves while escaping the daily grind of work. To bring back fond memories of childhood, Ms. Neha Nanwani and Ms. Rashi Paliwal planned different games and activities. Their happy grins said all about their experiences at this trip.

सागर ग्रुप ऑफ़ इस्टीट्यूशन - सिस्टिक गांधी नगर और रातीबड़ परिसर द्वारा भक्ति संध्या का आयोजन दिनांक 13.01.23 को किया गया। नव वर्ष, मकर संक्रांति एवम लोहड़ी के उपलक्ष में आयोजित इस भक्ति संध्या में चेयरमैन श्री सुधीर कुमार अग्रवाल के साथ ही सागर ग्रुप के विभिन्न उपक्रमों के पदाधिकारी भी उपस्थित रहे। कार्यक्रम में सम्मिलित सभी ने सुरमई भजनों का आनंद लिया।

School of Management Studies - SISTec MBA in collaboration with Make intern & E-cell IIM Calcutta organized a three days session on “Business Analytics”. The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Kushal, Business Analytics Trainer (NASSCOM Foundation), Managing Director (Prushal Technology Private Limited).

On the very first day, the speaker discussed about data, its use and importance in today’s technology driven market scenario, python programming language, practical exposure the for coding using python, were guided to the students. On the second day, students were enlightened about Power BI, and the basics of MySQL and Tableau. The use of all the languages was explained to the students through hands on exposure.

The workshop ended with a Q&A session, where the speaker answered all relevant questions to the satisfaction of the audience.

Every journey changes you, and traveling is a fantastic facilitator, introducing you to practical life skills. To keep motivating and acquainting our budding managers with necessary life skills, the School of Management Studies - SISTec MBA, organized an excursion trip to IslamNagar Fort.

The students had a wonderful and exciting time on the trip. The excursion was both enjoyable and instructive for the students, who learned about the historic site in central India that has artifacts from the Paleolithic and Mesolithic eras as well as the modern day.

Sagar Group of Institutions-SISTec organized Alumni Meet -'Confluentia 2k22' which was no less an opportunity to return to the native- the old people, the old friends, and the good old times. The event witnessed the reunion of engineering, pharmacy, and management alumni from all across India. This gathering provided a splendid opportunity to relive sweet memories from the past. It became a platform for alumni to come together and collaborate with their alma mater, understanding the need for creating new opportunities for graduates by enhancing the alumni network.

Many working in reputed companies and some who had established themselves as entrepreneurs shared their experiences on association with SISTec and expressed gratitude towards the teaching staff and management for their continuous support and commitment during their years at college. Impressive selfie points placed at every nook and corner were a major attraction. Alumni couldn't help but click countless photographs under hashtag 'I am a proud alumni of SISTec'. The current students of SISTec engaged the gathering with their electrifying dance and song performances. After enjoying the appetizing lunch, playing musical chair at Creations caught everyone in great nostalgia.

'SISTec Alumni Association' was reformed with deputation of President, Secratary, Treasurer and departmental Alumni Co-ordinators, who came to a common consensus on the date of Alumni Meet for 2023.

On the first day, the speakers discussed numerous financial concepts like expenses, budgeting, etc. Also the students were briefed on the importance of investment, small saving schemes, mutual funds, gold as investments. The role of securities market and process to invest in it was also elaborated.On the second day, students were enlightened about primary market and secondary market and how to invest in these markets.

The third day was completely dedicated to mutual funds and securities market. Role of SEBI, and concepts of risk of equity and debt investing were discussed. Also the speakers guided the students on career opportunities in Indian Securities Market. The speakers answered all relevant questions in the Q&A session to the satisfaction of the audience.

Sagar Group of Institutions-SISTec Gandhi Nagar and Sagar Group of Institutions - SISTec Ratibad Campus conducted the second iteration SISTec HeadStart —The Industry-Academia Forum 2.0 on 11th & 12th November 2022. This year the event witnessed the presence of all Top Technical Leads & HRs, who are the trendsetters in the industry with their practices. The platform became mush engaging when the Industry Stalwarts shared their experiences, thoughts and insights with the students of SISTec.

The event went on with the three rounds of panel discussion with the Industry Stalwarts on topics "Fundamental or Advanced Technology? Keeping the perfect Balance", "Making My Story" and "The Hard Road to Success". They even gudied students finding solutions to problems with learnings acquired either by skilling or by other experiences. With this, the HRs has a detailed panel discussion with the HoDs, majorly focused on SISTec's academic curriculum in line with the industry requirements along with the project exhibition by students.

The vibrance of Sagar Group of Institutions-SISTec reverberated across all grounds as SAC organized 'SISTec Kalakriti 2k22' to celebrate the festive vibes of Diwali.

The panoramic beauty with students regaling in fun and participants of the five competitions making preparations was a thing of beauty. SAC, this time, came up with a unique idea of making a diya formation with 300 hundred earthen diyas at Creations that were lighted by the members and further given a final touch by the dignitaries.

The winners and runner-ups were felicitated just after the conclusion of the event. Students and participants appreciated the effort of SAC and enjoyed to the fullest.
