As MBA is a professional program it comes with lot of opportunity for students. They can pursue their career in every field like – Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Distribution Houses, FMCG, Consumer Durables, Retail Chains, Logistics and E-Commerce Companies, Consulting Firms, ITES, Investment Banking etc.
Primarily specialization should be chosen on the basis of area of interest of the student coupled with medium /long-term prospect in that domain. Every specialization has its own flavor and over the long-term sticking to one’s preferred specialization pays off. If a student cannot make up his/her mind about the specialization at the beginning, it’s absolutely okay. Because after studying for one year and having internship training, one becomes much clear about the specialization he/she wants to take. (Specialization need to be opted in III Semester).
The eligibility is as per guidelines issued by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Govt. of Madhya Pradesh. Graduates in any stream from a recognized University with minimum 50 percent marks (for general category) and 45 percent marks (for ST, SC, and OBC category) are eligible to apply.
As such it is not mandatory to appear in the Entrance test. As per DTE, candidates with valid CMAT scores are counselled separately and are given preference for admission in the first phase counseling. However, remaining candidates (non CMAT) are counseled in second and or subsequent/college level counseling based on their Graduation marks. In short, an eligible candidate can secure admission without entrance test based on ‘first come first serve’ basis at the Institution.

The MBA at SISTec affiliated to Barkatullah University is a Full Time 2 year Program. So officially, the word “irregular” becomes irrelevant. Firstly we should try to convince the prospect to pursue the program on a regular basis and if at all he/she can’t go for regular attendance (owing to an existing good job/business), we may say that you may apply for attendance relaxation (with proper proof of existing job/business). This can be taken up on a case to case basis for approval and admission can be granted, if otherwise eligible. (In such situation, student needs to mandatorily take the internals, submit assignments and appear for University Exams)
Admission procedure requires: Filling of the registration form along with all the documents like – 10th mark sheet, 12th mark sheet, graduation mark sheet, Gap certificate (if needed), TC, migration, Aadhar card and scholarship documents (if required) and payment of registration fees. Institutional level admission process completes with the confirmation by the counselling dept. Final admission is confirmed after DTE Counselling.
Scholarship can be availed for ST, SC, and OBC categories. Scholarship amount to be disbursed is decided by the concerned departments and it may vary across years. As per past record, following were the scholarship (yearly) for different categories

Total marks (Internals 20, External 80) = 100
Internal Exam- Total 20 marks out of which 8 minimum is passing marks. External Exam-Total 80 marks out of which 32 minimum is passing marks.
To be declared as passed, the student needs to secure a minimum of 50 marks(including internal & external exam) in a subject.
Internal Exams - We conduct Mid Semester-1, Mid Semester-2 as part of internal exams. Apart from MST exams, Presentation, assignment and class performance accounts for Internal Marks.
Attendance Compulsion - Minimum 75% attendance is compulsory.

Library - SISTec provides a well-equipped library to provide a rich academic experience to appease its curious knowledge lovers who have an impulse to inquire The library collection also includes materials for competitive exams, fiction, novels, stories, general books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, magazines, CD-DVDs. It also has online access to full text as well as bibliographic databases to facilitate research & teaching. Students can access books through the ERP management system as well.
Assignments & Presentations - It’s an integral part of our curriculum. Presentations on regular basis give the students the opportunity to enhance their public speaking skill and gives confidence.
Bus Facility - A full-fledged Transport department functions in the college with buses to provide transport facility to students and staff from various places of Bhopal. College buses ply in almost all the important routes across the city covering each nook and corner. The transportation system is worked out in a way that even the student residing in remote localities can avail of this facility. Sagar Group has a fleet of over 100 buses providing transport facilities to students from various places in the city ensuring hassle-free and safe transportation.
Canteen - In addition to the excellent mess facility, the college also provides a fully functional canteen to serve hygienically prepared delicacies to the staff and students. Sports - To fulfil the needs of the sports enthusiasts the college has separate cricket and football grounds, along with volleyball courts. The MBA Program has to be pursued in English only as per the Regulations of the University. However on a practical note, if Hindi is a barrier for any student then there is not much reason to worry as in first semester itself we train students in such a way that they do not face any problem in writing their exams in English. It has been observed that majority of the Hindi medium background students easily cope with English by the end of 1st semester only.
MBA is a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, which can be awarded by a University only. PGDM is a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, equivalent to MBA, which is awarded by an autonomous Institution approved by AICTE.
It depends. If one is having experience and can take a break from job for MBA then also its fine or else after graduating directly going for MBA may also help one to connect with studies with more intensity and start a career.
